Intouchable

It is the most popular french-language french film abroad, in the world. It is as well the most viewed film of 2012 in the European Union. The film shows the relation between two men from different backgrounds : Driss, a man from Senegal who lives in the parisian suburbs, he spent in prison for six months for robbery of jewelry. The pronouns and the prepositions are a big part of the french language, it is a big difficulty for a lot of people. This book is focused on these two grammar points. Among the resources for French learning, I appreciate a lot the parallel texts.

Parallel Text: French Short Stories: Nouvelles Francaises  

These stories, with different topics for each, are in french with the translation in english as a parallel text, very good to train the memory because you make associations between the two languages. The french version is on the left page and the english version is on the facing page. While reading it you will know more about the french literature. It is suitable for the people who begins to learn french. If you do not understand a word or a phrase, the translation appears at almost the same place on the facing page. Do not try to translate everything everytime, let yourself appreciate the flow of the language.
