This book contains example sentences that explain and clarify the grammar rules, with 100 exercises, useful and ofently used French words. Here are some of the subjects : prspositions and prepositional phrases, idiomatic uses of irregular verbs, negative and interrogative structures, imaprfait and passé composé, the subjunctive mood, relative pronouns. It is divided in 12 parts.
Here is some of the content :
1- Present tense and uses of regular and stem-changing verbs (uses of the present tense, the present tense of regular verbs, the present tense of stem-changing –er verbs).
2 - Articles and genders (review of articles and genders, using the appropriate article, contractions, omitting articles).
3 - The present tense and idiomatic uses of the irregular verbs aller, avoir, être, and faire (the present tense conjugation of the irregular verbs aller-avoir-être and faire, idiomatic uses of aller-avoir-être-faire).
It is good to understand the basic of the French grammar and getting useful words that you will use in your everyday life, with many exercises and answers. Every course is introduced in English, so you are able to understand easily some things of the French language which you do not understand easily instead. The explanations are clear. A good book to prepare your immersion in a French speaking country.
